Posted on March 3rd, 2011 No Comments

One man was killed after a house fire accident in northwest Atlanta. The fire broke out just after 12:20 a.m. on Tiger Flowers Drive, but the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Atlanta fire crews arrived at the scene in order to put the fire out, but they found it difficult to get into the home because of the metal bars on the doors and windows.

The bars are meant to keep burglars out of the home, but it slowed the fire crews down significantly. When crews arrived inside the home, they found the man in the back bedroom and pronounced him dead.

Our thoughts are with the friends and family of the victim in the fire.
