A Georgia football player was arrested for a DUI after police pulled him over on East Campus Road.

The police officers stopped the UGA player when he did not change lanes when passing the cop who was stopping another vehicle. The driver originally told the officer that he did not drink any alcohol, but the police report stated the the car smelled of alcohol and the football player’s eyes were bloodshot and glassy.

As the field sobriety test was being done, a call came over the radio describing the football player’s vehicle and stating that it was involved in an accident earlier in the evening. A sophomore corner back was also in the carĀ  along with a sophomore wide receiver.
