Two Die in Interstate Accident

Two were left dead and another 16 injured following a tragic passenger van accident which occurred on I-65 early last Sunday morning.  The collision occurred near Edinburgh, at approximately 3:30 AM on January 24.

According to reporters, the van was traveling northbound on I-65 when it slowed to pull onto the shoulder of the road.  A semi truck, which was reported to have been weaving dramatically, crashed into the back of the van, spinning it around from the force.  Two passengers of the van were pronounced dead at the scene, while another 16 were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.  The crash is still under police investigation.

Driver Injured in Collision

The driver of an SUV has been injured following a collision that occurred with another vehicle on a busy Atlanta highway.  The accident resulted in minor injuries to the driver and a passenger in the other vehicle.  The driver of the vehicle had to be taken to a hospital,  whereas the passenger was released at the scene of the accident.

The accident remains under investigation,  however initial reports indicate that the accident was caused when the driver attempted to swerve and avoid debris that were in the road.

Woman Killed in Accident

An Atlanta woman has recently been killed in an accident.  The single-car accident occurred when the woman's vehicle, a Ford Expedition went off the road,  turned over on its side, and caught fire.  The woman was pronounced dead at the scene by authorities. 

A passenger was also in the vehicle at the time of accident.  The passenger is being treated for head trauma.  The accident is currently under investigation by authorities.  More information should be available at a later time.

Woman Causes Accident While Putting on Lipstick

A car accident has recently occurred in Atlanta.  The woman ran into another car that was stopped at a four way stop.  The woman struck the back of the vehicle.  After police arrived on the scene,  the woman admitted to authorities that she was attempting to put on lipstick shortly before striking the other vehicle.  

The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries from the accident according to reports.

Ice Causes Massive Pileup

Ice is being blamed for a massive pileup that involved at least 29 cars in Atlanta.  

The accident occurred on a busy Interstate that is located near the airport in Atlanta.  The roads have been extremely dangerous because of the ice and officials are asking drivers to stay home until the ice was melted and roads are clear for driving.  

The recent arctic blast has brought some of the coldest temperatures all across the nation.

Car Accident Injures Two

 A recent car accident in Atlanta has injured at least two individuals.  The accident occurred shortly after midnight in the early hours of Monday morning. According to reports,  the accident occurred when a car ran a red light at a busy intersection.  The car struck another vehicle on the side in the intersection. 

Emergency officials were called and rushed the two drivers to the hospital.  The condition of the individuals is not currently known at this time.  Law enforcement is investigating the accident to determine if charges will be filed or if alcohol was involved.
