An SUV driving Campbellton Road in Atlanta hit an icy patch of road and flipped over, injuring one of the three occupants.  Cold temperatures caused a patch of water on the road to freeze over, which ultimately caused the accident.

The Chevy Trailblazer lost traction on the icy surface and skidded into a power pole, knocking it over and tearing down wires.  One of the passengers was rushed to the hospital.

According to police, a broken water pipe caused water to leak onto the roadway, where it froze over.

Two individuals have been killed in an accident on Interstate 20 after an SUV flipped over multiple times.  The accident occurred over the weekend on Sunday afternoon. 

According to reports,  the SUV was driving westbound when a tire blew out causing the vehicle to overturn.  One individual in the car died at the scene,  another individual died at the hospital while being treated.  At least one other individual is in critical condition from the accident, and three others have injuries from the accident as well.  

The accident caused Interstate 20 to be closed and traffic delayed as authorities conducted their investigation into the accident.

Police are currently investigating an accident that took place in Atlanta.  At least four people were injured in the accident according to police reports. 

A woman driving a gold Pontiac car was driving above the speed limit when the woman crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head on.  The driver of the Pontiac was taken to a hospital.  Her condition was currently not known.  At least two children were injured in the accident as well.
